Resolution 9673, Accepting and Allocating American Rescue Plan Act <br />Funding. <br /> <br />Finance Director Beer requested the Council accept and allocate American Rescue Plan Act <br />funding. He stated the ARPA grant the City received came in two separate disbursements, one in <br />2021 and the other in 2022. He explained in 2021, the Council designated the funds for the <br />appropriation of Public Safety expenditures. He reported the 2022 funding would allocate <br />$600,000 for Public Safety expenditures. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Meehlhause/Bergeron. ROLL CALL <br />VOTE <br /> <br />City Administrator Zikmund requested the Council adopt an Ordinance amending Chapter 31 of <br />the Mounds View Municipal Code Regarding Mayor and City Council Annual Compensation. He explained this <br />would be a contract renewal that names the State as the recipient of federal dollars that would then <br />be passed along to the City. <br /> <br />Mayor Mueller stated the City previously received $40,000 in federal aid.
