Mounds View City Council December 12, 2022 <br />Regular Meeting Page 21 <br /> <br />these dollars were placed. Finance Director Beer reported these dollars were placed in the Street <br />Improvement Fund. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Bergeron/Hull. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 9676, <br />Minnesota Department of Transportation Contract – Federal Participation in Construction. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br />9. REPORTS <br />A. Reports of Mayor and Council. <br /> <br />Council Member Cermak stated the Police Foundation would be meeting at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, <br />December 13 where the group would be discussing Shop with a Cop. She noted this would be her <br />last meeting as the Vice President. <br /> <br />Mayor Mueller asked when the daddy/daughter dance would be held. <br /> <br />Council Member Cermak reported the dance would be held on Saturday, February 4 at the <br />Community Center. <br /> <br />Mayor Mueller noted she attended the Active Living Ramsey County meeting earlier today via <br />Zoom where transit in the metro area was discussed. <br /> <br />Mayor Mueller explained on Thursday she would be attending her last annual meeting with the <br />Ramsey County League of Local Government. <br /> <br />Mayor Mueller commented on a letter she received from Executive Director Dave Unmacht with <br />the League of Minnesota Cities. She wished him all the best in his retirement and thanked him for <br />his tremendous service to the State of Minnesota. <br /> <br />Mayor Mueller discussed a publication she received from the St. Paul Area Association of Realtors <br />and encouraged the Council to read this publication. <br /> <br />Mayor Mueller stated she had wonderful experiences and she has been proud to serve this <br />community on the City Council. <br /> <br /> B. Reports of Staff. <br /> <br />City Administrator Zikmund stated he was happy to report Well No. 5 was running again. <br /> <br />City Administrator Zikmund explained Hannah and Alexa would be attending a conference in <br />Nashville, Tennessee which required Council approval. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Bergeron/Meehlhause. To approve Hanna Kenow and Alexis Bostrom <br />attending out of state travel for training on behalf of the City of Mounds View. <br />
