Resolution 9679, Authorizing Separation Compensation for GIS Technician <br />Jacob Garibay. <br /> <br />Mayor Mueller thanked Jacob Garibay for his tremendous service to the City of Mounds View and <br />wished him well in his new position. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Meehlhause. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 9679, <br />Authorizing Separation Compensation for GIS Technician Jacob Garibay. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br />6. PUBLIC COMMENT <br /> <br />Kathryn Smith, 2142 Bell Lane, reported she was the City of Mounds View’s Festival in the Park <br />President. She presented the Council with a check for $500 and noted these funds could be used <br />to help children in the community that need assistance with summer park and recreation <br />programming. <br /> <br />Mayor Mueller thanked Ms. Smith for the generous donation. A round of applause was offered by <br />the Council. <br /> <br />Des Crane, 312 Spring Street - Unit 2 in St. Paul, thanked the out-going City Councilmembers for <br />their dedicated service to the community. She thanked the incoming Councilmembers for their <br />willingness to serve the community. <br /> <br />Zach Lindstrom, 8378 Long Lake Road, thanked Council Member Bergeron and Mayor Mueller <br />for their dedicated service to the City of Mounds View. He stated he was looking forward to <br />working with the remaining Council Members in 2023. <br /> <br />Dan Mueller, 8343 Groveland Road, indicated tonight was bittersweet for both him and his wife, <br />Mayor Mueller. He stated he was very proud of his wife and her service to the City of Mounds <br />View. <br /> <br />7. SPECIAL ORDER OF BUSINESS <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />8. COUNCIL BUSINESS <br />A. Resolution 9682, Approval of Business License Renewal – Curbside Waste, <br />Inc. <br /> <br />City Administrator Zikmund requested the Council approve a business license for Curbside Waste, <br />Inc. He noted this was a carryover item from the Council’s December 12 meeting.
