Resolution 9648, Cooperative Agreement for Construction and Maintenance <br />9 of a new Trail along Mounds View Boulevard. <br />10 <br />11 Public Works/Parks and Recreation Director Peterson requested the Council approve a <br />12 cooperative agreement for the construction and maintenance of a new trail along Mounds View <br />13 Boulevard. He explained T.A. Schifsky would be completing this work. <br />14 <br />15 MOTION/SECOND: Hu11/Cermak. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 9648, <br />16 Cooperative Agreement for Construction and Maintenance of a new Trail along Mounds View <br />17 Boulevard. <br />18 <br />19 Ayes — 4 Nays — 0 Motion carried. <br />20 <br />21 J. Resolution 9645, Authorization for Storm Sewer Maintenance at Woodcrest <br />22 Park. <br />23 <br />24 Public Works/Parks and Recreation Director Peterson requested the Council authorize for storm <br />25 sewer maintenance at Woodcrest Park. He commented further on the work to be completed by <br />26 Perkins Contracting and recommended approval. <br />27 <br />28 MOTION/SECOND: Meehlhause/Hull. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 9645, <br />29 Authorization for Storm Sewer Maintenance at Woodcrest Park. <br />30 <br />31 Ayes — 4 Nays — 0 Motion carried. <br />32 <br />33 K. Resolution 9649, Renaming Random Park to Hodges Park. <br />34 <br />35 Public Works/Parks and Recreation Director Peterson requested the Council rename Random Park <br />36 to Hodges Park. He explained this request came from the Mounds View Lions in order to honor <br />37 Don and Amy Hodges, who were both Citizens of the Year and have many years of service to the <br />38 community and was recommended for approval from the Parks, Recreation and Forestry <br />39 Commission. <br />40 <br />41 Mike Hodges, 11815 Tulip Street in Coon Rapids, thanked the Mayor and City Council for <br />42 considering changing Random Park to Hodges Park. He stated this would honor both his father <br />43 and mother and their many years of service to the community. He commented further on the many <br />44 challenges his father faced while serving the City of Mounds View and discussed how his mother <br />45 was also active in the community. <br />46 <br />
