The project is not even fully funded so it should not even be considered for development at this
point. Developers want all the world and we as a community do not want to give up our pre -owned
small community area to this greed and we hope you will support your constituents with this wish
and vote no to this development and turn down the rezoning request.
It was stated there were no R1 rebuilding requests, no one seeks to buy properties that are not up
for sale to build a new home this is usually a development request so don't fall for this mis-
communication. Jon Has done a good job trying to get these developments passed and that is his
job but as a community it is your job to listen to the community and say no to these types of over
sized projects that just do not make sense for the small area that is already fully developed. This
land already has the R1 owner saying he will not sell so the 2nd phase is already out of consideration
even before rezoning consideration. Say no to the PUD rezone so it is easier to redevelop in the
future per the legal team advice and say no to this size of development now and in the future. A
restaurant or gas station like kwik trip would be a better fit for this land
We encourage you to do the right thing and vote this project down and wait for a better fitted
development of these parcels. It is not a hardship or a critically important development that
demands the development be built to benefit the city today.
Thank you for taking time to review this and all of the other emails and listening to the community
that you all serve. We hope you will vote with the community and say no to this project.
Sincerely,
Mark & Debbie Gavett
5210 Jeffery Dr.
