RESOLUTION 9688 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />AUTHORIZING HIRING OF MORRIS LEATHERMAN AT COST OF $17,500 FOR <br />SERVICES SPECIFIC TO COMMUNITY CENTER EXPANSION CONDUCTING A <br />COMMUNITY SURVEY <br />WHEREAS, Council has been and continues to explore an expansion of the Mounds <br />View Community Center; and <br />WHEREAS, Council envisions seeking state bonding for the project, has received a <br />report for an economic consultant specific to operation and identified a governmental relations <br />firms and, <br />WHEREAS, Council engaged Kodet Architects to develop concept plans and <br />construction estimates; and <br />WHEREAS, Council interviewed Libby Law Firm a year ago and staff met this past <br />December to review and update the project; and <br />WHEREAS, Staff explored Polco and Morris Leatherman and Council interviewed <br />Morris Leatherman at their October workshop. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds <br />View, Ramsey County, Minnesota that Morris Leatherman be contracted for $17,500 to <br />conduct a community survey specific to expansion of the Mounds View Community Center. <br />Adopted this 9t" Day of January, 2023 <br />Al Hull, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Nyle Zikmund, City Administrator <br />(SEAL) <br />
