Resolution 1137-21 <br />Page 3 of 3 <br />Finding: The applicant HAS sufficiently demonstrated the following needs for an <br />amendment to the PUD Narrative; <br />A. A demonstrated need for reduced building foundation setbacks is to be <br />consistent with the intent of the Comprehensive Plan and Zoning <br />Code, allowing creative use of lands for PUD's. <br />B. A demonstrated need for increased fence height, from 48" to 60", <br />around the pet exercise area and tot lot includes increased security to <br />contain pets and children within those confines. <br />C. A demonstrated need to increase fence height from 48" to 8' for <br />segmented panel fences along County Road H2 is to be consistent with <br />the intent of the Comprehensive Plan and Zoning Code, allowing <br />creative use of lands for PUD's. <br />WHEREAS, a Public Hearing is to be held on Monday, September 13, 2021 at 6:30 PM. <br />A Public Hearing Notice was published in the August 17, 2021 edition of the Shoreview Press, <br />and mailed to property owners within 350' of the subject property; and, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Mounds View Planning and Zoning <br />Commission, based upon the above Findings, the Staff Report, and in consideration of public <br />testimony, hereby recommends Approval of an Amendment to the Crossroad Pointe Planned <br />Unit Development Narrative. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED, that the Mounds View <br />Planning Commission directs Staff to forwa <br />approval of the minutes. <br />Adopted this 18th day of August, 2021 <br />Attest: <br />
