There has been only one occasion <br />where I've actually spoke at a charter commission <br />meeting. <br />Q In your capacity as a council member, what <br />activities have you undertaken relative to the charter <br />commission? <br />A I have tried to recruit individuals to serve on <br />the charter commission when we were -- when we only had <br />three members at one point in time. And there was a time <br />back in 2015 or so where I provided the city <br />administrator at that time with a list of about 15 names <br />of people that might be interested in serving on the <br />charter commission. <br />Q And how successful have your recruitment <br />efforts been? <br />A There were two individuals who ultimately <br />agreed to serve. <br />Q How easy has it or difficult has it been to <br />recruit commission members? <br />A It has been a challenge. <br />Q What are the challenges that you have relative <br />to getting names of willing individuals for the <br />commission? <br />A There are two individuals specific that I have <br />tried to recruit who have served on multiple commissions <br />
