AMUNDSEN: Your Honor, I would ask for that <br />to be hearsay and stricken. <br />THE COURT: It is stricken. Sustained. <br />BY MR. RIGGS: <br />Q Mr. Meehlhause, have you undertaken any efforts <br />of recruitment since the time of May 21 and the most <br />recent resignation of a commission member? <br />A I have not. <br />Q And why have you not? <br />A I have chosen because of having individuals <br />serve and not working out for them to just not go that <br />route, plus, since that May meeting, I have chosen not to <br />even have conversation with anyone about the charter <br />commission. <br />Q In your opinion, Mr. Meehlhause, do you think <br />you'll be able to find citizens willing to serve on the <br />commission should Mr. Amundsen remain? <br />THE COURT: That calls for speculation. He <br />doesn't have a crystal ball. <br />
