The Administration Department requests that the Commissioners develop a list <br /> of questions they would liked asked, in order of importance. <br />The Commissioners developed a list that was included in the June / July edition of the Mounds View Matters. <br />The Commissioners asked have many question s could be dedicated to Parks; about 3 to 5. <br />There was much discussion pertaining to what questions to include. <br />Commissions were asking; “What information do we want to get from the survey?” <br />The final list of questions are as follows: <br /> <br />1. Do you feel Mounds View should focus on maintaining existing <br />facilities and services or on new features/facilities/programs. <br /> <br />2. Of these five options, which one is most important to you <br /> a) Facilities b) playgrounds c) Trails d)Recreation Programs e) <br />athletic fields <br /> <br />3. Would you support a smoking ban in the Mounds View Parks? <br /> <br />4. If you could change or add one feature to the Mounds View park <br />system, what would it be? <br /> <br />5. How would you rate the City of Mounds View parks & recreational <br />opportunities? <br /> <br /> <br />Approve meeting dates for 2005 <br />The dates needed to be changed from 2004 to 2005. <br /> <br />Motion to accept the meeting dates for 2005 with the revision: Aukee <br /> 2nd: Long <br />Motion passed unanimously <br /> <br /> <br />Recommend a Chairperson for 2005 - to be approved by City Council <br />The Commissioners recommended than John Kroeger remain as Chairperson. <br /> <br />Motion to recommend John Kroeger as Chairperson of the Parks and Recreation Commission for 2005: Aukee <br /> 2nd: Long <br />Motion passed unanimously (Kroeger abstained from voting) <br />
