<br /> 2nd: Aukee <br />Motion passed unanimously <br /> <br />This will go to the City Council on February 14, 2005 for approval. <br />If approved by Council, Ms. Palm will be sworn in on February 24, 2005. <br /> <br /> <br />LaCrosse Field / Oakwood Park Renovation Project <br />Rice Creek Watershed thought it may obtain approval, but hasn’t issued it yet. The City’s Surface Water Management Person continues to work with the Watershed on this issue. <br />Commissioners asked if there was a map. Plan airphotos with dimensions of the proposed Soccer / LaCrosse Field. <br />Commissioners suggested that this should be included in the Park Tour to be conducted at the May meeting. <br /> <br /> <br />5. Commissioner/Staff Reports: <br /> <br />The DNR is planning to install the Lakeside Lions Park Fishing Pier before the second week of June, if possible. <br />Not in time for opener <br />Correctional facility inmates will be constructing the pier –they have been behind schedule. <br /> <br />Graffiti removal information request from an Irondale High School Student <br />This email was included in the packet <br /> <br />Ice Rink Update <br />Hillview and Lambert are the highest used rinks. <br />Carpet will be installed in Lambert in February. <br />The ice has been in good shape –better than previous years. <br />There is signs that the rinks are getting a lot of use. <br />Shelters have been well cared for. <br />Commissioners asked if there are shovels available at the rinks. Steve Dazenski replied – Yes. <br /> <br /> <br />6. Request for future agenda items/other business <br /> Possible Items for February 24th Agenda <br />Mounds View Matters Articles (due March 28th for May /June edition) <br />February 24th – Identify Articles: Greenfield Playground, Groveland Building, Fishing pier… <br />March 24th - Review Articles <br />Skate Park - The Commissioners requested previously developed costs estimates for the Skate Park. There were two sites considered.
