Motion passed unanimously

BUILDING PLAN.
The Groveland Building plan is four feet (4’) longer than the Hillview plan. The front was also straightened out – whereas the Hillview plan jogged in.
Bathrooms were switched to the right of the building, the mechanical room to the left.
There was a discussion regarding the main entryway and door not being symmetrical with the building. After further investigation it did not look like it was feasible to change it without
major changes to the interior, which would affect the functionality and traffic patterns within the building.
Bathrooms would be stainless steel – just as Hillview is.
The floor would have rubber mats on concrete for easy maintenance.
The kitchen would be 8’X12’8”.
With the main entry way skewed to the right there is a larger building surface on the left side of the front of the building. The Commissioners discussed the possibility of placing a
sign on this wall.
The air conditioning unit will be mounted within the roof / rafter area of the building.

Motion to accept the Groveland Park Building Plan (floor plan) as presented:
Motion made by Kunza
2nd: Kunz
Motion passed unanimously

Facility Guide Update –
The final version should be presented at the April meeting.
Email out the final version out to the Commissioners in a PDF format.

YMCA Committee Update –
The Committee met in early March.
Discussed the carpeting of the banquette center area and the new security cameras.

2004 Park Needs Analysis –
The Parks and Recreation Commission approved the final version on February 24, 2005.
Items in Category B will go the City Council on March 28, 2005 for approval.
Bethlehem Baptist Church will be donating $12,000 to these items for 2005.
The City Council will be discussing the Bethlehem Baptist Church donations at the April 4, 2005 Work Session Meeting.
The needs analysis was sent to the Bethlehem Baptist Church.
