<br />The Commissioners stated that they would like to officially recognize and thank the Bethlehem Baptist Church for their donations. <br /> <br /> <br />City Wide Survey <br />On February 28, 2005, the City Council approved the final version to the fifty-question (50) Community Survey. <br />The questions submitted by the Commission did not change. <br />The City Council also revised the funding for this survey by directing staff to utilize Park Dedication Funds to finance the park related questions. This was to be done based on the <br /> following formula:(number of park related questions / total number of questions)* total cost of survey. Estimate: (6/51)*$10,200=$1,200. <br />The Commissioners questioned why this was done and if other departments were charged for their questions. <br />No other departments were charged. <br />The survey is currently being conducted. <br />One Commissioners home was contacted. <br />There will be a Town Hall Meeting on April 30, 2005 to discuss the result of the survey. <br /> <br /> <br />LaCrosse Field / Oakwood Park Renovation Project <br />Staff continues to work on a complete proposal for Oakwood Park <br />Steve Dazenski explained dimensions and the shortcomings of trying to site a field at this location. <br />The proposal is to add a 2/3 sized field, remove the existing playground equipment and replace it with tot-lot playground equipment. <br />Costs and impacts still need to be determined. <br />Discussions with the Watershed will also need to occur. <br />Once a proposal is completed it will be submitted to the Parks and Recreation Commissioners for review. <br />Silver View soccer field is completely booked until September 2005. Park has been <br />The City lost a small field at City Hall when Edgewood Drive was re-aligned. <br />The Commissioners did want more information regarding the Silver View Soccer field usage (age range of those who have reserved it, is it being reserved for games or practice?). <br /> <br /> <br />Park Lighting Project <br />Steve Dazenski continues to work on with an electrical contractor to develop a lighting proposal.
