As of 5/25/2004 <br /> • A total of 19 surveys were filled out and returned to the City. <br /> • The deadline for submittal is September 3, 2004. <br /> • The Commission requested to review the surveys received so far at the <br /> next meeting. <br /> f) YMCA Committee Update <br /> • The committee discussed the contract at their last meeting—but not to <br /> any great extent. <br /> • Looked at park usage fees <br /> • Discussed possible visa payment option—City is looking into the cost <br /> of getting a printer <br /> • The YMCA is promoting LaCross <br /> • Discussed the January through March Program report. <br /> g) Lakeside Lions Park Parking Lot <br /> • This was included in the 2003 Street Improvement Project as a bid <br /> alternate. <br /> • Bids were received for this project. <br /> • The low bid was $99,965.25. The engineer's estimate was $104,750. <br /> • Should the City Councils of Mound View and Spring Lake Park wish <br /> to proceed with the parking lot project, they will need to award it to <br /> the contractor. <br /> • The bid award was originally scheduled for May 24, 2004. However, <br /> due to issues with the Rice Creek Watershed District regarding the <br /> 2003 Street Improvement Project, the bid award was continued until <br /> June 14, 2004. <br /> • The joint powers agreement with the City of Spring Lake Park was <br /> revised to include the Lakeside Lions Park parking Lot. The City <br /> Council approved this revision on May, 10, 2004. <br /> • Commissioners asked if there was going to be a conflict with <br /> construction and use of the park. There will be some disruption, <br /> however, it will be minimal. Then lot will always be usable on <br /> weekends and evenings. <br /> h) Lakeside Fishing Pier <br /> 3 <br />
