End parking lot area at fence line for cost estimating purposes. <br /> Costs related to curb radii, etc at the street entrance will be assigned to the street. <br /> 2. Costs related to realigning the sidewalk near the entrance are included in this estimate. <br /> 3. Sprinkler system within the park will be relocated by the cities. No costs included here. <br /> 4. Excavation depths have been assumed. A survey would be required for preparation <br /> of a final construction plan. Quantity may change depending on that information. <br /> 5. If work is combined with the City of Mounds View 2003 Street Improvement Project, <br /> recycled gravel base from the reclamation of the old streets will be used in the parking lot <br /> to the maximum extent possible. The actual quantity of recycled gravel available will not <br /> be known until the time of the street construction. For purposes of these estimates, it <br /> has been assumed that 50% of the required gravel base will be available as recycle. <br /> 6. 12 inches of topsoil will be required on all old paved areas that are converted to green space. <br /> 7. Rice Creek Watershed District may require storm water features in conjunction with the <br /> parking lot rehabilitation. Such features are_outside the scope of this estimate. <br /> 8. No repairs to the concrete slabs and sidewalks by the Beach House are included, <br /> beyond the installation of new access ramps for the disabled. <br /> 9. Initial striping of the lot will be done as part of the construction. Cost are included. <br /> Future maintenance of the pavement markings will be done by the cities. <br /> 10. Dumpster enclosure will be built by city forces. No costs included in this estimate. <br /> 11. Existing concrete parking stops will be salvaged by city forces prior to construction. <br /> 12. Typical section: 6" gravel base; 2" bituminous base; 1-1/2" bituminous wear surface <br />
