JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT PAGE 2 ALLOCATION OF COST • The City of Mounds View shall invoice the City of New Brighton upon the termination of the ten week ' ummer program based on the following figures : 1. 50% of the actual staffing costs based on two (2) puppet wagon coordinators @ $150/week for 11 weeks or $1 , 650 . 2 . 50% of one (1) puppet wagon assistant @ $75/week for ten weeks or $375. 3 . A flat rate of $200 for actual vehicle expenditures including gasoline , repairs and insurance . 4 . A flat rate of $200 for equipment purchase and vehicle rental based on a 5 year depreciation for existing equipment. The monetary arrangements shall be approved by Council resolution no later than April 1 of each year. ADMINISTRATION AND CLERICAL SUPPORT The City of Mounds View will be responsible for all general clerica and administrative work including workman ' s compensation and insur- ance relating to the summer puppet/theatre program. The City of New Brighton will be responsible for all publicity, and show location confirmations within the City of New Brighton. EQUIPMENT PROVIDED The City of Mounds View hereby agrees to provide one mobile puppet wagon truck, including P.A. system, stage , microphones , puppets and related theatrical equipment necessary and in good operating condition to provide a weekly puppet and theatrical performance. INDEMNIFICATION The City of Mounds View herby agrees to indemnify and hold harmless and defend the City of New Brighton, its agents and employees , against any and all claims for damages , of whatever nature, arising from or in consequence of the duties it has assumed hereunder, except for vehicles and/or equipment owned by the City of New Brighton. ANNUAL REVIEW This agreement shall be reviewed and evaluated annually. AUTHORITY 4110 Each party executes this agreement pursuant to the authority of their respective governing bodies .
