memorandum <br /> TO: 1982 Prospective Mounds View Slow-Pitch Managers <br /> FROM: Mounds View Parks and Recreation Department <br /> The 1982 Softball season is approaching rapidly. To meet your many requests <br /> and give you an opportunity to be aware of the leagues available this year, a <br /> brief description of the program is attached. MANAGERS - PLEASE HAVE A TEAM <br /> MEETING AND REVIEW THIS ENTIRE LETTER TO CLARIFY CHANGES AND ANSWER QUESTIONS <br /> PRIOR TO YOUR LEAGUE 'S REGISTRATION DEADLINE. <br /> General Information: <br /> Special Notice: Metal spikes shall be prohibited in all Mounds View Slow-Pitch <br /> Divisions. <br /> Eligibility: Each player on each roster of competitive teams wanting to advance <br /> to State Tournament if eligible, will have to prove their eligibility by one of <br /> the following two methods at our office, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m, - <br /> 4:30 p.m. This includes all teams; first year, seventh year, "Over-35" , Men' s <br /> and Women 's Competitive, Co-Rec, Sr. Boys and Sr. Girls. All teams registered <br /> with the City of Mounds View must comply with the certification procedure - NO <br /> EXCEPTIONS. <br /> S THE FOLLOWING TWO DATES HAVE BEEN SET UP IN ADDITION TO NORMAL BUSINESS HOURS FOR <br /> PLAYER CERTIFICATION : <br /> SATURDAY, APRIL 3, <br /> 10:30AM - NOON <br /> MOUNDS VIEW CITY HALL <br /> 2401 HIGHWAY 10 <br /> THURSDAY, APRIL 22 <br /> 4:30 - 6:30PM <br /> MOUNDS VIEW CITY HALL <br /> 2401 HIGHWAY 10 <br /> CERTIFICATION DEADLINE: APRIL 30 <br /> A. Residence Certification <br /> 1 . Exhibit a valid permanent Minnesota Driver's License (no temporary licenses <br /> accepted) . <br /> B. Employment Certification - Participant must be employed full time (standard work <br /> week) . <br /> 1. Exhibit a valid permanent Minnesota Driver's License (no temporary licenses <br /> accepted) . <br /> • 2. Exhibit a payroll check stub or W-2 form dated prior to employment deadline <br /> with name and address of employee and employer. Summer employment is no longer <br /> a basis of eligibility for college students. <br />
