Memorandum ,� r <br /> Page 2 <br /> • <br /> Players will be ineligible for the entire 1982 softball season if they do not certify <br /> through our office by DEADLINE DATES. Players cannot be certified until their team <br /> rosters are turned in. Roster changes for certification must take place at the same <br /> time as the actual change takes place. PLAYER CERTIFICATION MUST BE DONE BY EACH <br /> PLAYER IN PERSON . <br /> You must live or work in one of the following communities for residency certification <br /> in the Competitive Divisions of the Mounds View Softball Program: <br /> 1. Mounds View 4. Circle Pines <br /> 2. Spring Lake Park 5. Lino Lakes <br /> 3. Lexington <br /> You must live or work full time in Mounds View School District ##621 <br /> to be eligible in the Sr. Girls , Sr. Boys , Men 's Over-35, Co-rec and Recreational <br /> divisions . <br /> In addition , each team will be allowed to carry three non certified players on their <br /> roster. Please be aware that the non-certified ball players will be eligible to <br /> play on your team in the playoffs and State Tournament. They must also be identified <br /> on your roster sheet with the letters "N/C" before their name. <br /> • <br /> NON RESIDENT FEE : A FEE OF $5 . 00 WILL BE CHARGED FOR ANY PLAYER WHO DOES NOT <br /> WORK OR LIVE FULL-TIME IN THE CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW. <br /> Practice Field Policy: <br /> 1. Your team must be a paid registered team in one of our leagues to <br /> request the use of practice fields . <br /> 2. You may have two (2) practice permits per week and you may call <br /> our office one ( 1) week in advance for permits. <br /> 3. The daily hours to call requesting permits are 8:00 a.m. - 4 :30 p.m. <br /> 4. Permits can be picked up at our office, Monday through Friday, at <br /> City Hall , and you must have them with you when you go to the practice <br /> field. <br /> 5. No alcoholic beverages are allowed on school or park property when practicing. <br /> Trophy Policy: <br /> Individual trophies will be provided to all league champions and a team trophy will <br /> be provided to all 2nd place league runner-ups and 1st place playoff champions. <br /> State Tournament: <br /> Men 's and Women 's Competitive league champions, Co-rec champs , and Sr. Boys and Sr. • <br /> Girls league champions , and Over-35 champs will have the opportunity to compete in <br /> the MRPA District or State Tournament if such teams have complied with the player <br /> certification process prior to league nlay. <br />
