Page 4 Coaches Code of Behavior: (continued) Be it hereby understood that unsportsmanlike behavior such as shouting, spitting , or degradation of any person (be it umpire , players , coaches , or parents) will not be tolerated. Coaches must display the power of restraint and self-discipline -- a positive influence on young minds. Such behaviors as smoking , drinking , cursing , or slander will not be tolerated in the presence of your team players during practices or games . Such behaviors , if evident, shall be reviewed and acted upon by the Youth Rules Committee. Uniforms : Uniforms will consist of a t-shirt and baseball/softball cap as distributed by the Parks and Recreation Department. (Except for Sr. Boys and Sr. Girls League) First Aid: Should an injury occur, the coaches are asked to provide common sense first aid and to notify the city police department in case of need for ambulance service. Parents shouS be notified whenever an injury occurs , especailly head bumps , etc. so that parents can watch for signs of concussion , etc. Youth Rules Committee: A Youth Rules Committee will be made up of 5 persons ; 1 Parks and Recreation Staff member, 2 Parks and Recreation Commission members and 2 volunteer coaches of the youth league. This committee will have the authority to review and take adequate action of offenses by coaches of the policies given herein . Rosters: Rosters will ideally hold a maximum of 16 players and a minimum of 10 players. Rosters will be formed by the individuals selection of team upon registration . Teams may not be formed by bulk registrations , only by individual selection. Once the team(s) have reached maximum enrollment, that team registration will be closed. Players who register after the deadline registration date will not have a team choice 111/1 will be placed on a team that is in need of players .
