ir <br /> • 52 . 08 DAMAGING OR REMOVING PROPERTY PROHIBITED <br /> No person shall destroy , damage , mar , deface , or otherwise <br /> injure any property or facilities in City parks or open spaces . <br /> No person shall break , cut , mutilate , injure , remove , or carry <br /> away any tree , plant , flower , shrub , rock , soil , sand, fence , <br /> benches , tables , or any other property or facilities in City parks <br /> and open spaces . <br /> 52 . 09 TRAPPING BY PERMIT ONLY <br /> No person shall place or set any trap or devise designed to <br /> kill or capture wild animals upon privately owned lands within <br /> the City in violation of any law , ordinance or rule pertaining <br /> • to trespassing . No person shall engage in trapping on publicly <br /> owned lands within the City without possessing a valid permit . <br /> A permit may be issued by the City Council to any applicant who <br /> can satisfactorily demonstrate the following : <br /> (1) They possess a valid state trappers license; or <br /> (2) They are under the age of 16 years and have completed a <br /> course in trapper education offered by or under the sponsor- <br /> ship of the Department of Natural Resources ; or <br /> (3) They have at least three years of previous trapping experience <br /> and have not , within the preceeding three years , been <br /> convicted of a violation of any trapping law, ordinance , <br /> or rule . <br /> • No person shall place or set any trap with a jaw spread greater <br /> than six inches upon land. <br /> A violation of tlordinance is a misdemeanor . <br />
