C .O .N. Funding - Staff distributed <br /> copies of the ranking sheets for the 1981 <br /> L .A.W. C .O .N . Phase II funding of Silver View <br /> Park, which indicated that the project had <br /> ranked 12 out of 18 projects with only five <br /> projects being slated or scheduled for funding <br /> Staff indicated that at this time there are <br /> no state or federal monies appropriate for the <br /> funding as it had been cut during the budget <br /> cutbacks . <br /> • <br /> 1982 BUDGET PROCESS Staff reviewed the two memos forwarded in the packet; <br /> The Five-Year Capitol Improvement Plan and the Public . <br /> Service Program. Staff then outlined the process currer <br /> ly being undertaken by the City Council to develop a <br /> long range plan or policy to determine the City ' s direc- <br /> tion during the next 5 years . Staff further indicated <br /> that once the plan is completed a copy will be presented <br /> to the Park Commission for their review and input prior <br /> to final adoption by the City Council . <br /> PARK BOND ISSUE Staff introduced this topic by stating that the Council <br /> had requested that Staff determine whether or not the <br /> Park Commission desired to schedule a follow-up park <br /> referendum on August 18th, 1981 . The City Council has <br /> scheduled a special referendum for the truck ordinan <br /> on August 18th and felt that a follow-up park refere-um <br /> would be compatible at that time .
