I MEMO TO: Mounds View Parks and Recreation Commission
FROM: Bruce K. Anderson, Director
Parks , Recreation and Forestry
DATE : January 24 , 1934
SUBJECT : NEIGHBORHOOD PARK PLANNING FUND GUIDELINES
Attached is a revised copy of our preliminary Neighborhood Park
Planning Fund Guidelines. Hopefully, they incorporate each of
the ideas that the Commission forwarded to staff at the
January 5, 1984 meeting. Staff did forward a copy to each of
the Councilmembers on Monday, January 23rd, and there were some
concerns expressed that we need to be more detailed in our
specific criteria as to what projects will be funded and in what
priority they will be approved.
Staff would like to continue to work on these guidelines at
Thursday ' s meeting so that we can have a more formal preliminary
draft that can be taken to local businesses during the month of
February. Should you have any questions or concerns prior to
Thursday' s meeting, feel free to contact myself directly at
784-3055, Ext. 41 .
411
BKA/pf
Attachment
1
a
s
i
1
Ali .
4
J
