{ <br /> "ADOPT-A-PARK" CONTRACTUAL AGREEMENT <br /> AGREEMENT MADE THIS 11th day of April , 1983, with <br /> 111/1 <br /> Ernie Peterson , hereinafter known as the "Volunteer" and the City of <br /> Lakeville, for the purpose of volunteer contractual park maintenance chores herein <br /> described as follows: <br /> 1. Grass areas to be mowed weekly or bi-weekly, depending upon the <br /> weather and rate of grass growth. <br /> 2. Grass areas around permanent facilities are to be trimmed to coin- <br /> cide with grass cutting. <br /> 3. Area is to be kept clean of trash as necessary. <br /> 4. Periodical visual inspection of playground equipment and other <br /> permanent facilities for potential safety hazards. Broken swings, <br /> washouts, broken picnic tables, etc. are examples that should be <br /> immediately reported to our office. <br /> 5. Work schedule record. <br /> 6. A rate of $8.00 per hour will be used for tax credit purposes. 111/1 <br /> The $8.00 per hour will include cost of equipment, gas, = +% <br /> IT IS FURTHER AGREED that the City of Lakeville will provide said volunteer <br /> a letter certifying the amount of work and its deductible value. Said letter will <br /> be issued when volunteer completes his or her summer responsibilities or chooses to <br /> cancel said contract. <br /> IT IS FURTHER UNDERSTOOD that injuries incurred during the performance of <br /> volunteer services will not be the responsibility of the City of Lakeville.
