It <br /> has been marked with orange paint. While it is not possible to determine <br /> whether or not the tree is a victim of Dutch elm disease, this tree still <br /> poses a threat of disease spread because it is an ideal site for breeding of <br /> the elm bark beetle. <br /> This tree must be removed under the City Ordinance, Chapter 92 (Tree Diseases) <br /> and is the responsibility of the property owner. The removal process can be <br /> started immediately and has requirements described on the included sheet. The <br /> owner has ten (10) days to remove the tree(s) before the City Forester will re- <br /> inspect the property.
