In addition to the recreation <br /> program offerings that T have attached , T would like to state that <br /> of the four divisions our department is reponsible for; the recreation, <br /> park maintenance and park development divisions arc all budgeted <br /> and funded out of the City ' s general fund . <br /> The fourth division would he the City forestry fund which is funded <br /> out of the City forestry account which is a segment of the general <br /> fund hut is listed w ;a cepa ru Lu entity or fund above and beyond <br /> the general fund . Through this special "treatment" of the forestry <br /> program, we are able to keep a running account of the forestry <br /> program on a year to year basis . It should also be noted that the <br /> forestry fund could be levied above and beyond the general fund but <br /> 1111 due to the City ' s current financial status , we have not done that in <br /> Lhc <br /> pasL nor do we envision additional levies in the future . <br /> Should you have any questions regarding the fund accounts of our <br /> department ' s activities , feel free to contact myself directly at <br /> extension #41 . <br /> BKA/sll <br /> Attachment <br /> 1111 <br />
