Commissioner Burmeister made a motion <br /> to request staff to make a report to determine <br /> the feasibility of the pitching machine as pro- <br /> posed for a new youth league program. Motion <br /> was seconded by Commissioner Silvis . Motion <br /> passed. 5 ayes <br /> 0 nayes <br /> VOLUNTEER WINTER FLOODING Director Anderson reviewed the volunteer winter <br /> flooding proposal . The proposal was discussed <br /> with special concern over the use of equipment <br /> by volunteers . It was decided that a sign out <br /> sheet would promote responsible use of equipment <br /> by volunteers . Commissioner Burmeister made a <br /> motion to adopt the volunteer flooding proposal, <br /> the motion was seconded by Commissioner Silvis . <br /> The motion passed. 5 ayes <br /> 0 nayes <br /> WINTER PROGRAMS Program Supervisor Saarion reviewed the winter <br /> program of activities for January and February. <br /> STAFF REPORT Director Anderson reviewed the staff report and <br /> also informed the Commission that the D.N.R. will <br /> be stocking Silver View Pond with 1500 - 2000 <br /> fish this spring . Director Anderson also informed <br /> the Commission that all outside firms requesting <br /> sponsorship of programs through the Parks, Rec- <br /> • reation and Forestry Department will be asked for <br /> 25% of the fee and all registrations must be held <br /> through the department' s registration system. <br /> ADJOURNMENT Commissioner Silvis made a motion to adjourn , and <br /> Commissioner Bowman seconded the motion.
