Anderson, Director Parks , Recreation and Forestry DATE : May 13 , 1982 RE: Spring/Summer Park Maintenance Projects The following items should be completed at your earliest possible convenience . They are not listed necessarily in priority. But rather by park location. Those items that should have immediate priority will have an asterisk prior to the point . CITY HALL PARK 1 . Attempt to straighten out the fences at both City Hall East and West , as they are curled up around the bottom. 2 . Use the Round-up chemical weed killer that I purchased last. year to spray underneath the bleacher and around the players benches of both City Hall #1 and #2 . *3 . Have the tennis and volleyball net installed on the standards . IIII 4 . The drinking fountain is still not working as well as it pos- sibly could. 5. Bicycle rack should be relocated to behind the building . 6 . Check the tot lot playground equipment for any broken chain links , jagged edges , and especially check over the whirl slides for any problem areas . In addition, scrape the sand over the cement block areas at the base of each equipment so no bare concrete is showing . 7 . Wash the tables down underneath the large picnic shelter . 8 . Pull the two U-posts out behind the volleyball court area . 9 . Have the weeds pulled in the sand volleyball court lot area. 10 . Clean the ashes out of the large brick fireplace area. 11 . Have a stencil made that says , Mounds View Parks , and have the trash barrels repainted in green with a white stencil saying Mounds View Parks . 12'.* All of the trash should be picked up around the City Hall Park property area. III *13 . The soccer field should be lined in front of City Hall as it was last year with the white spray paint as soon as possible .
