.MEMO TO: Larry Decheine DATE: May 13, 1982 PAGE : Two 410 As you are aware , Odis Newton will be preparing the flower garden area in front of City Hall as well as mowing the turf area including the bermed areas all the way out to Edgewood Avenue so the City Crew does not have to worry about that particular project . SILVER VIEW PARK There really is not maintenance projects at Silver View envisioned in the next two to three months , but I would recommend that the crew check the park on a periodic basis , i . e . to insure that no damage has been done and vandalism is kept to a minimum. Any vandalism or park projects that need repair at Silver View should be reported to myself directly, and I will deal with them at that time . WOODCREST PARK • *1 . The tire climber needs to be repaired at Woodcrest Park. It ' s broken and lying on the ground. Should be completed as soon as possible . 2 . The drainage ditch needs to have the weeds mowed and cleaned out to ensure good flowage of water . 1111 3. The whirl should be painted this summer .4 . The fence behind the hockey rink on the east side should be examined and retightened. 5 . The building will be removed in the next two weeks and the crew should go back and reclean-up the area after the building has been removed. 6 . The hockey rink boards should be trimmed of weeds at least twice during the summer months . 7 . The trash should be picked up around the entire park area, es- pecially up by the warming house area, regarding the remains of the winter skating program. 8 . The stop sign and chain should be reconnected across the easter border of the park. 9 . Again use Round-up around the rock and have it trimmed were it says Nelson ' s Rink and Memorial to Jim and Tucker Nelson, so that area looks at least somewhat nice. KNOLLWOOD PARK This is the park located at the corner of County Road H2 and Knollwood. III *I have spoken to local Boy Scout Troop and they will be cleaning up this area as part of their Spring City Clean-up project day, and they are stacking all the dead wood branches etc . on County Road H2 and they should be picked up and cleaned up shortly thereafter clean up day as possible .
