-3- <br /> REVIEW STATUS OF Staff indicated that ordinance 391 was <br /> ORDINANCE 391 approved by a unanimous vote by the Mounds <br /> View City Council at their regularly sche- <br /> • duled May 13 meeting . The only modification <br /> the Council made in the initial ordinance was <br /> that non-resident organizations would not be <br /> eligible to secure a permit to sell beer <br /> within the City ' s park system. <br /> DISCUSSION ON TASK Staff reviewed a memorandum regarding poten- <br /> FORCE FOR PARK FUNDING tial individuals to serve on the ad hoc task <br /> ALTERNATIVES force . After staff reviewed the individuals , <br /> staff requested any additional names or input <br /> regarding the process. A number of names <br /> were recommended and staff indicated that a <br /> letter would be drafted prior to the next <br /> Commission meeting to determine the interest <br /> of the individuals that were suggested. <br /> STAFF REPORT Staff reviewed a memorandum from Rita Docken , <br /> the City Energy Coordinator, regarding the <br /> changes in the City' s recycling program with <br /> Recycling Unlimited no longer providing ser- <br /> vices to the City. The Commission reviewed <br /> the proposal and felt that it was an item <br /> that should be addressed by the Energy Com- <br /> mission and that any formal requests to util- <br /> ize park facilities or Park and Recreation <br /> • Staff should be presented to the Commission <br /> and they would act on each specific proposal. <br /> ADJOURNMENT A motion was made by Commission Linnell , <br /> seconded by Chairperson Burmeister to adjourn <br /> the meeting at 8 : 15 p.m. Motion passed unan- <br /> imously: 7 ayes , 0 nayes. <br /> R- - _ -ctfully submi ted , <br /> Bruce K.
