MINUTES OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE <br /> PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> 4111 COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> April 25, 1985 <br /> Mounds View City Hall <br /> Council Chambers <br /> 6 : 30 p.m. <br /> CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order at 6: 35 p.m. <br /> by Chairperson Burmeister . <br /> ROLL CALL Commissioners present : Commissioners Weflen , <br /> Bowman , Linnell , Long , and Chairperson Bur- <br /> meister . <br /> Commissioners absent : Commissioner Letendre <br /> and Silvis. <br /> Councilmembers present: Councilmember Quick <br /> Staff present : Parks and Recreation Director <br /> Anderson . <br /> APPROVAL OF MINUTES Motion was made by Commissioner Bowman , <br /> seconded by Commissioner Linnell to approve <br /> 4111 the March 28 , 1985 Parks and Recreation Com- <br /> mission meeting minutes as presented. Motion <br /> passed unanimoualy, 5 ayes, 0 nayes. <br /> REVIEW OF GREENFIELD <br /> PARK BID OPENING Staff reviewed the memorandum regarding the <br /> bids for the Greenfield Park Phase I develop- <br /> ment. Staff indicated that four formal bids <br /> were received with the bids ranging from <br /> $123 , 500 to $196 , 232 . Staff indicated that <br /> the City Council awarded the bid to the low- <br /> est responsible bidder , Midwest Asphalt, in <br /> the amount of $123 , 500 . Staff indicated that <br /> they had spoken with Midwest Asphalt and they <br /> would be ready to commence work no later than <br /> May 20 , 1985. <br /> Staff raised a number of issues relating to <br /> the Greenfield Park project that needed Com- <br /> mission direction . The first item centered <br /> around the two bridges that were to be con- <br /> structed over Judicial Ditch No . 1 . Staff <br /> distributed diagrams of two possible bridges , <br />
