An information kiosk was included to <br /> serve as a focal point off the parking <br /> lot , directly north of the proposed site . <br /> 3. Major berm areas were established to buf- <br /> fer the baseball/softball area from the <br /> tot lot as well as berming along Hillview <br /> Road. <br /> 4 . The proposed soccer field could not be <br /> extended beyond a 50 x 70 yd. area. <br /> 5. The proposed trail system in Greenfield <br /> Park would be crushed limestone rather <br /> than the initial bituminous surface . <br /> 6. The tennis courts would be lit with an <br /> automatic timer system which would not <br /> include a coin operation . <br /> Barton-Aschmann also indicated that there <br /> would be two scheduled meetings with the Rice <br /> Creek Watershed District before final appro- <br /> val• of the plan could be developed , but at <br /> this time , they did not envision any major <br /> problems. <br /> The Park Commission asked a number of ques • <br /> - <br /> tions regarding the plan including trail sur- <br /> face material , bridge construction and fenc- <br /> ing for the baseball field. The consultants <br /> responded to each of the questions. In addi- <br /> tion , Commissioner Long questioned the pro- <br /> posed time frame as to whether or not we <br /> would be able to meet an early May construc- <br /> tion start.
