Assist the City in the letting and receiving of sub-contractor bids for <br /> the project and in preparing the contract for construction between the <br /> City and the successful sub-contractors. <br /> VI. Construction Management <br /> A. Assist the City's Parks and Recreation Director through weekly site <br /> visitations to observe ongoing construction to ascertain if the pro- <br /> ject is being built in accordance with the construction documents <br /> and well certify as to the contractors justification of monthly <br /> bills to the City. will also review <br /> Firm <br /> shop drawings by the sub-contractor and at the completion of con- <br /> struction, will make a final punch list and report to the City. <br /> B. Schedule construction and coordinate the work of sub-contractors to <br /> allow for smooth interphase and project flow. <br /> TO BE PROVIDED BY THE CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> The City of Mounds View shall provide: <br /> 111/1 <br /> 1. All background information they have available related to this project and <br /> necessary instructions and input regarding the program requirements. This <br /> information will be provided by the City's Parks and Recreation Director <br /> who will serve as the project coordinator. <br /> 2. Existing site plans and building lines, topographical surveys and utility <br /> maps of Greenfield Park. The selected planning firm shall be able to rely <br /> on the accuracy of these documents. <br /> 3. A designated representative from the selected planning firm would receive <br /> weekly instructions, authorization and direction from the Project Coordin- <br /> ator on an as needs basis. <br /> TIME FRAME <br /> would commence work on the project immediately <br /> Firm <br /> following authorization by the Mounds View City Council and would perform all <br /> the work in Phases I - V within four months of start. <br /> FEES <br /> bases all fees for professional services on the <br /> Firm <br /> amount of time anticipated to perform the work. The total fees for all ser- <br /> 111/1 <br /> vices recommended in this proposal are as follows: <br /> Phases I - V $ <br /> Phase VI $ <br /> Please note in your proposal that the contract price is based on X amount of <br /> hours per week for X amount of construction weeks for Phase VI or a flat hour- <br /> ly rate. <br />
