GREENFIELD PARK DEVELOPMENT - MOUNDS VIEW, MINNESOTA <br /> 111/1 <br /> PROPOSAL FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES <br /> Having met and discussed the project with Mr. Bruce Anderson, Parks, Recrea- <br /> tion and Forestry Director, <br /> Firm <br /> proposes the following scope of work as a recommended procedure <br /> for the development of Greenfield Park. <br /> SCOPE OF PROJECT: <br /> Working with the Parks and Recreation Commission and City Staff, <br /> Firm <br /> will provide the following professional services: <br /> I. Program Development <br /> A. Assist the City Staff in reviewing the existing master to determine <br /> if the potential facilities proposed for the site are accurately <br /> based on current community needs and desires as established in the <br /> City-wide Park System Master Plan and the Parks and Space Survey as <br /> provided by the City of Mounds View. This review process will <br /> define both current and projected future needs. <br /> II. Analysis <br /> III/0 <br /> A. Review available data related to but not limited to soils, hydrolo- <br /> gy, visual impact, topography, vegetation, drainage, access, utili- <br /> ties, existing facilities and unique characteristics of the site. <br /> III. Master Plan Development <br /> A. Based on the program development and site analysis, <br /> Firm <br /> will provide a critique of the existing park development <br /> plan in written form to the Parks and Recreation Commission high- <br /> lighting the facility relationships, flow patterns and visual asthe- <br /> tics. <br /> B. Prepare a current cost estimate for the proposed park development as <br /> outlined. <br /> C. Attend Park and Recreation Commission and City Council meetings as <br /> necessary to complete the initial planning reviewing process. <br /> IV. Construction Documents <br /> A. From the finalized approved design, <br /> Firm <br /> would complete working drawings with specifications for Phase I con- <br /> struction including: <br /> 111/1 1. Relocation of the existing baseball field. <br /> 2. Construction of two lit tennis courts. <br /> 3. Development of proposed trail system. <br /> 4. Construction of bituminous entry road and parking lot. <br /> 5. Relocation of existing tot lot equipment. <br /> 6. General sitework as appropriate. <br />
