I Commissioner Diane Wuori made a motion that the <br /> Park and Recreation Commission write a letter to <br /> Ramsey County to urge retaining the signal light at <br /> Quincy St. and County Road I even after street <br /> improvements, in consideration that several <br /> children travel this intersection as they <br /> participate in recreation programs at the Pinewood <br /> School site located on the corner of County Road I <br /> and Quincy St. <br /> Commissioner David Long seconded the motion. REPORT Parks and Recreation report. <br /> GROVE LAND FK <br /> AND GREENFIELD F'k. <br /> PROJECT REPORTS Acting Director Saarion reported on the developments of <br /> Groveland Park tennis courts and Greenfield Park play <br /> structure. <br /> STAFF DIRECTION The Commission requested staff to submit the 1986 <br /> attendance record to the City Council and Mayor. <br /> The Park and Recreation Commission requested staff to write <br /> a letter to request the signal light at Pinewood School <br /> intersection of County Road I and Quincy St. remain for <br /> reasons said. <br /> The Park and Recreation Commission requested staff to write <br /> a card of thanks and appreciation to all the 1986 volunteer <br /> coaches. <br /> The Park and Recreation Commission requested staff to <br /> register Commissioners for the Park Commissioners <br /> networking meeting to be held Tuesday, November 18. <br /> The Park and Recreation Commission requested that staff <br /> • schedule the moving of the sandlot volleyball court at City <br /> Hall Park and the addition of a second court if possible <br /> ASAP. <br />
