• <br /> -5- <br /> A motion was made by Chairperson Burmeister, <br /> seconded by Commissioner Silvis to request <br /> the cash park dedication fee of $527. 00 in <br /> 41/0 <br /> addition to the 1 . 1 acres of wetlands to ful- <br /> fill the Stanley Fisher sub-division park <br /> dedication requirements. The motion passed <br /> unanimously, 5 ayes, 0 nayes. <br /> STAFF REPORT Staff reported that the there had been shrub- <br /> bery plantings at City Hall and in tot lots. <br /> He also stated that the department heads and <br /> City Council were currently involved in a <br /> goal setting process. <br /> ADDITIONAL AGENDA <br /> ITEMS Commissioner Wuori said that she had noticed <br /> a great deal of littering at Silver View <br /> Park. Staff said that the majority of it was <br /> from Burger King and that although their was <br /> a sufficient amount of trash recepticles, the <br /> people just weren' t using them. <br /> The Commissioners inquired about our use of <br /> Edgewood Community Center in the future . <br /> Staff indicated that he had meet with repre- <br /> sentatives from District #621 on April 30, <br /> and at this point, there is a moritorium on <br /> Plan B until the outcome of the referendum is <br /> determined . If the referendum is successful , <br /> Edgewood would remain a community center. <br /> • Staff further stated that he was optimistic <br /> about our continuing use of the pool facility <br /> at Edgewood , and the School District has <br /> indicated that they feel Edgewood will remain <br /> a community center for at least one more <br /> year. <br /> On another issue , Commissioner Wuori request- <br /> ed that the community service organizations <br /> be contacted at least one month in advance <br /> regarding the Spring Clean Up Day. She said <br /> that many scout troops were not informed as <br /> yet and would be unable to attend on such <br /> short notice . <br /> Chairperson Burmeister asked when the tennis <br /> court lights would be turned on a Greenfield <br /> Park.
