-2- ALLOCATIONS OF COST The City of Mounds View shall invoice the City of New Brighton 410 quarterly for the amount due and payable, by the City of New Brighton for services rendered by the Aquatics Director during the billing period . This quarterly amount will reflect 50 per cent of the Aquatics Directors salary and benefits for that given time period. The city of Mounds View shall notify the City of New Brighton in writing within sixty ( 60 ) days in advance of any salary or benefit change. Benefits shall be the same as those normally accorded to a full-time Mounds View City employee . ADMINISTRATION AND CLERICAL SUPPORT Each City shall be responsible for its own clerical and adminis- tration work relating to its respective aquatics program. This will include flyers and school announcements, letter correspon- dence, evaluations, contracts, and any applicable applications and grant forms. MISCELLANEOUS EXPENSES, LICENSING AND CERTIFICATION All licensing , certification and related miscellaneous expenses having common need or interest between the two municipalities shall be split equally between the two cities based on a 50/50 basis. EQUIPMENT SHARING • The municipalities of New Brighton and Mounds View individually own certain equipment which is important for a successful aqua- tics program. This equipment shall remain the property of each municipality, but a sharing of special equipment, which would benefit each of the respective communities, will be encouraged and promoted whenever possible. INDEMNIFICATION AND INSURANCE Each municipality will indemnify and hold harmless each respec- tive City on all aquatics issues and be responsible for maintain- ing their own professional liability insurance covering all potential damages of whatever nature that may arise from or be the consequence of duties that each municipality has assumed. ANNUAL REVIEW This agreement will be reviewed and evaluated annually. AUTHORITY Each party executes this agreement pursuant of the authority of their respective governing bodies.
