Three major accomplishments mark the Friends first <br /> St. Paul, MN 55116 year. Through the efforts of the Friends, money was raised to fund a Citizen <br /> (612) 698-4543 Task Force to evaluate and make recommendations about the St. Paul and <br /> - Ramsey County parks systems. The Task Force, appointed by the City and <br /> President County, is now meeting and be•innin• the •rocess of devel•.'.• . . _ /.- <br /> Truman W. Porter plans for the park systems. , ' <br /> Vice Presidents <br /> Neil Franey <br /> Samuel H. Morgan Recruiting a membership to support the parks has been another <br /> Treasurer accomplishment. Although the Friends now claim 350 members our mailing <br /> JeanneorWeigum list includes manyelected and appointed officials and others who are <br /> Directors pp <br /> Perry Bolin interested in parks.
