Mary Saarion DIRECTOR MOUNDSVIEW PARKS, RECREATION AND FORESTRY Dear Ms. Saarion • I am sorry that circumstance has kept me from attending this evening's park board meeting. I would appreciate it very much if you could present this letter in lieu of my personal attendance. My present concern is that the hark chip path that was scheduled for completion as part of the origional first phase of park development now be finished as promised. During the time of debate about the proposed housing development and prk construct- ion, one of our primary concerns was that the developer not mis-represent the access to parkland to any of his prospective buyers. The thing that was feared by us has obviously come to pass! When a resident comes before the board with a map furnished her by the developer purporting to rep- , resent the prop erty as shoreline property and then states that she paid a Ten Thousand Dollar premium for that access, I think it is past time for the • board to establish permanent boundaries as evidence that the shoreline is public • not private land. I regret that the press of business has prevented my involving myself more closely in the progress of park development, as I origionally had intended, but you can rest assured that I will find the time in the future to stay in touch with the status of Siverview Park. I have other concerns which I intend to put forward at future board meetings, so I would appreciate being added to the publicatf`on list of board meeting minutes.
