Following
Rick Wriskey's direction, we have trimmed the willows on the park property
so that they look really pretty now.
I hope that you will keep in mind our suggestion that the wood chip path
be continued around the pond. As I mentioned on the phone, Laurie and I
see many people walking around Silver View Pond. Reaching the end of the
. 0 present wood chip path by our house, many hikers appear to hesitate, since
there are no indications as to where the park and private property
boundaries exist. More often than not, hikers (out of a sense of courtesy)
walk on the steeply-sloped bank on the pond. My wife and I did the same thing
many times in the past, before the park property lines were staked
out this summer. This makes for really uncomforable and unsafe walking.
I think that if the wood chip path were complete around the pond (it
covers about 90% of the path today) , all people who use the park could •
do so in a much more comfortable and safe fashion.
Thank you for considering this idea for improving the use of Silver ,
View Park.
Regards,
0
4,01 I'
Edd Trettel
cc: Jerry Linke
•
•
