<br /> WE, the undersigned residents of Silver Lake Woods Addition, (abutting Silverview
<br /> Park) to the City of Moundsview, Minnesota, do hereby object to the development of
<br /> a pedestrian walking path adjacent to our properties for reasons including, but
<br /> not limited to the following:
<br /> 1. THE DEVELOPMENT OF SUCH A PEDESTRIAN WALK PATH IS INCONSISTENT WITH THE
<br /> MASTER PLAN FOR SILVERVIEW PARK ON WHICH BASIS SILVER LAKE WOODS ADDITION •
<br /> TO THE CITY OF MOUNDSVIEW WAS DEVELOPED AND MARKETED.
<br /> 2. THE DEVELOPMENT OF SUCH A PEDESTRIAN WALK PATH IS INCONSISTENT WITH THE
<br /> PREMIUM LOT PRICE WHICH WE PAID TO MARVIN H. ANDERSON CONSTRUCTION
<br /> COMPANY FOR LOTS ADJACENT TO PASSIVE, OPEN SPACE, PARK PROPERTY.
<br /> 3. THAT THE INTRUSION OF SUCH A PEDESTRIAN WALK PATH IMMEDIATELY BEHIND OUR
<br /> LOTS WILL DIMINISH THE VALUE OF OUR PROPERTY.
<br /> • 4. THAT THE PROPOSED PEDESTRIAN WALK PATH, MADE OF WOOD CHIPS, WILL NOT BE
<br /> NEARLY AS ASTHETICALLY PLEASING TO THE ADJACENT PROPERTY OWNERS NOR PARK
<br /> USERS AS THE PARK LAND AS CURRENTLY USED.
<br /> 5. THAT THE PROPOSED WOOD CHIP PEDESTRIAN WALK PATH WILL CREATE MAINTENANCE,
<br /> TRAFFIC, SAFETY AND SECURITY PROBLEMS TO THOSE OF US ADJACENT THERETO,
<br /> CERTAINLY NOT ANTICIPATED WHEN WE PURCHASED OUR LOTS. IN ADDITION,
<br /> ADDING A WOOD CHIP PATH HAS THE POTENTIAL OF CREATING A DAMNING EFFECT
<br /> WHICH WOULD PREVENT THE NATURAL DRAINAGE OF WATER FROM OUR PROPERTY,
<br /> THEREFORE CREATING AN ADDITIONAL HAZARD TO OUR HOMES.
<br /> 6. THAT WE, THE UNDERSIGNED, WERE NOT PROVIDED WITH AN APPROPRIATE
<br /> OPPORTUNITY TO EXPRESS OUR OBJECTIONS TO THIS USE DURING ANY PUBLIC
<br /> PROCESS.
<br /> We respectfully request an ,opportunity to meet with you to further our discussion •
<br /> pertaining to this issue in an effort to mutually resolve our differences to the
<br /> benefit of everyone concerned.
