Adding up the build out costs and additional <br /> • insurance alone would put us into a rather deep hole. If the user fees do not cover the <br /> operational cost (and then some), we would really be up a crick and I think you know <br /> which one. <br /> Please don't take this as a bashing!! As I stated in the meeting, I raced competitive BMX <br /> for three years in the '80's and was even nationally ranked for over a year. However, as a <br /> businessman I have also learned that you can't try to be everything to everybody. In fact <br /> those who do usually fail. As a city of four square miles with deteriorating parks and paths <br /> we already have more to fix than our current, and probably future budgets can afford.
