This request <br /> ! came as a result of two recent accidents in this area. Over 220 residents <br /> ! signed a petition in support of these requests. A copyof a sketch <br /> submitted by the petitioners is included for your review. <br /> • <br /> At this meeting, staff was directed to draft a resolution approving the <br /> ! installation of the stop signs, to be placed as drawn on the sketch. The <br /> ' resolution was to also direct the Park and Recreation Commission to <br /> ; research and recommend a solution to crossing Hillview at Quincy (as shown <br /> Ion the sketch) and to the parking situation around the park. <br /> Attached for Council consideration is Resolution No. 4578 requesting the <br /> ; installation of the stop signs and also giving direction to the Park and <br /> Recreation Commission to do research and make a recommendation on a <br /> possible crosswalk on Hillview and the parking situation. <br /> The streetlights are scheduled for installation this year as part of the <br /> proactive streetlight installation plan. <br /> Tim Cruikshank, Asst. to City Admin. <br /> • <br /> Wa?ttetadviidopt Resolution No. 4578 , approving the installation of <br /> ! stop signs as drawn on the petitioners sketch and directing the Park and <br /> Recreation Commission to make recommendations to the Council on the parking <br /> ; ., �� - '-,- <br />
