The other three communities <br /> had somewhat similar responses. Thirty-two percent of the residents of <br /> New Brighton were either much less likely or somewhat less likely to use <br /> a facility outside their city boundaries. Thirty-five percent of the residents <br /> in Mounds View and 37 percent of the residents of Fridley responded in a <br /> similar manner. <br /> Support for a regional senior citizens center was strong in all four <br /> communities. Eighty-one percent of the respondents in Mounds View and <br /> 5 Spring Lake Park support a regional senior citizens center. While seventy- <br /> six percent of the respondents from Fridley supported the regional senior <br /> citizens center, 67 percent of the respondents from New Brighton favored <br /> a regional senior center. <br /> Willingness to pay additional taxes ranged between $10.25 among <br /> New Brighton respondents to $12.70 among the Fridley respondents.
