• POLICE <br /> You are never going to believe this but....Tim Ramacher took 1/2 day <br /> of vacation on Tuesday and a 7/8 of a day of vacation from the office on <br /> Wednesday. Believe it, it's true! <br /> • <br /> In Tim Ramacher's absence, Lieutenant Dave Brick provided the <br /> following: <br /> 4. Police Department had a fairly mellow weekend. Lots <br /> of bike thefts and recoveries. <br /> .1. Police Department still having some burglary and car <br /> prowls. <br /> 4. Some officers are on vacation which is adding a lot of <br /> calls to the working officers. <br /> 4. POLICE DEPARTMENT is hosting the picnic, Thursday. Food and <br /> • drink for everyone and prizes for the kids. <br /> PARKS, RECREATION AND FORESTRY <br /> 4. Bids were opened for the purchase of a large culvert for the Silver <br /> View Park ditch area and for the installation of the culvert. SEH <br /> handled the specifications notification to vendors and construction <br /> companies regarding the bid opportunity. The low bid for <br /> purchase of the culvert was awarded to Contech and the low <br /> installation bid was awarded to Rehbein. The project cost will be <br /> completed under budget. Construction will begin when the culvert <br /> arrives, about the last week of August. <br /> •T• SEH is working on specifications and proper notification to the Rice <br /> Creek Watershed District regarding the installation of the culvert at <br /> Greenfield Park. Park Maintenance hopes to begin work on this <br /> • project during the last week of August. <br /> 4. The Parks and Recreation Commission recommends Gary <br />
