Sharie is in the process of completing <br /> . the full City Newsletter which will be out in the homes by <br /> September. <br /> 4 The Hustler mower is back at the distributors being worked on. <br /> Another mower will be loaned to 1:he City while it is being worked <br /> on. Hopefully, once fixed the Hustler will be able to handle park <br /> mowingbetter than it has lately. <br /> Y <br /> Bacon Electric was called to trouble shoot the lights at both <br /> Greenfield and Groveland Parks. Calls from residents had been <br /> received about the lights not going on, security lights not on, and <br /> lights that wouldn't stay on once on. Anyway, the problems still <br /> aren't worked out because calls are still coming in. I have <br /> requested Bacon Electric to do a second check. <br /> 4 A new furnace/AC system has been installed at Random Park. <br /> The Lion's Club donated the funds for his project. Additional work <br /> will be done to the exterior of the building with budgeted monies. <br /> The building needs a lot of work 'to keep it in good repair. <br /> • Random Park building has unbelievable usage and is a facility <br /> resource that is a great asset to Recreation programming and to <br /> general public organizations and groups. <br /> 4 This week marks the end of the Summer Swimming Program. <br /> Four sessions (two weeks each, every day) of swimming lessons <br /> were offered with over 16 classes each day, along with Open <br /> . Swim. <br /> 4. Fall Softball registrations are being accepted. This is also the final <br /> week of playoffs for Summer season. Mary has been busy <br /> completing all the paperwork for team champions to advance to <br /> regional and state tournaments. <br /> •T• Also, summer youth athletic equipment is being collected, <br /> inventoried and put away in storage. Letters to coaches thanking <br /> them for their volunteer time were sent. -- <br /> Mary has also been working on the organization of the Fall Soccer <br /> League. Soccer Clinic is being held this week. <br />
