The portable restroom at Groveland has been <br /> turned over four times requiring special cleanings which becomes <br /> very costly. This week the restroom was burned. For this reason <br /> the portable restroom has been removed from Groveland. <br /> Six sprinkling heads were destroyed at Greenfield Park last <br /> evening. Some of the heads were found in the tot lot. The heads <br /> were broken right off. All the vandalized sprinkling heads were <br /> located behind the bleacher area between the bleachers and the <br /> tot lot. <br /> 4, <br /> The swing bench located at Silver View Park pathway was stolen. <br /> a , This bench swing was installed just last Fall. The swing bench is a <br /> V" favorite for pathway users. Who knows, it may be seen in <br /> someone's yard? . <br /> This rash of vandalism has ruined a year of very few vandalism • <br /> incidence. Perhaps youth of the community are becoming bored <br /> during the last month before school starts. Whatever, the reason, it <br /> is playing havoc in the parks. <br /> •T• Mounds View Community Theater production of "CAMELOT" has <br /> concluded with success. The performances went off without a <br /> hitch. Those that went to the performances thought that it was <br /> very good. Congratulations to all those people that put in tons of <br /> volunteer hours to the MVCT productions. <br /> . •T• Sharie taught another class of Red Cross Babysitting Monday and <br /> i Tuesday afternoons at City Hall. This is always a very popular <br /> ► class. <br /> i <br /> 'Ti Sharie also chaperoned a group of Seniors to the Power Plant, and <br /> out to lunch. Hank Ruggles volunteered his services again as the <br /> bus driver. <br /> •T• Sharie also completed the formatting of the City Newsletter Flyer • <br />
