UPDATE: Samantha Orduno explained that a previous <br /> Land Use Task Force determined that the land <br /> should be pursued for a golf course project. <br /> This Golf Course Task Force has the <br /> responsibility of studying the options for <br /> development of a golf course and provide a <br /> recommendation to the City Council . <br /> Randy Thoreson, planner from Short-Elliot- <br /> Hendrickson presented the information which <br /> has been collected regarding options for a <br /> golf course facility. Randy described the <br /> land and its wetland impacts and <br /> considerations. The original 9 hole course <br /> layout was reviewed. <br /> A map of adjacent properties was presented as <br /> an option for the possibility of expanding <br /> the course to 18 holes. An eighteen hole <br /> course exhibit was presented by Don Herfert, <br /> golf course architect. <br /> It was explained that the addition of five <br /> parcels of property owned by Watson would <br /> enable the addition of 9 holes. An <br /> additional one parcel would enable additional <br /> room and possibly a mini golf facility. <br /> IIISamantha Orduno explained the situations <br /> regarding the property issue.
