You have been appointed to the Community Center Task Force!! See the <br /> resolution enclosed. There is work to be done in the month of December! You need to appoint 5 <br /> more members to the Task Force. I have submitted an article to the New Brighton Bulletin <br /> advertising for applications. Provided that the article is indeed printed as planned in the New <br /> Brighton Bulletin on December 11, the deadline will be December 18 to receive applications. I <br /> wish to call a meeting of the Parks and Recreation Commission for Thursday, December 19 at <br /> 6:30 at City Hall for the purpose of selecting 5 of those applications for appointment to the Task <br /> Force. This will allow time to notify those persons selected and will give time to plan a meeting in <br /> ithe early part of January. <br /> We will need to reveiw applications and select a Task Force - as soon as possible so that work on <br /> the Community Center can move as quickly as possible. Therefore, I hope that you all can attend <br /> the meeting on the 19th. I promise that it will be short - perhaps an hour or less. If you are <br /> unable to attend, please call me at 784-0618.
