RESOLUTION NO. 5054 <br /> • CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A COMMUNITY CENTER TASK FORCE <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View has completed a survey of community interests <br /> pertaining to the use of the Bel Rae Ballroom property as a community center, and <br /> WHEREAS, the results of the survey show strong public support for the use of the Bel <br /> Rae site as a community center providing a variety of opportunities for residents, and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View will benefit from the input of residents as it <br /> develops the Bel Rae into a community center, <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Mounds View hereby <br /> announces the immediate formation and appointment of a Community Center Task Force to <br /> provide recommendations, suggestions and input to the council and staff of this city in <br /> developing the Bel Rae Site into a community center. The following are hereby appointed to the <br /> • Community Center Task Force: all currently serving Parks & Recreation Commissioners, five <br /> additional appointments (two to be youth of the community) to be made by the Park <br /> Commissioners, and the Director of Parks & Recreation as the staff liaison. <br /> Adopted this 25th day of November, 1996. <br /> Ail 1.ST: <br /> i <br /> (SEAL) Mayor <br /> Chuck Whiting, City A.
