RESOLUTION NO. 9793 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION APPOINTING A NEW TREASURER AND DEPUTY TREASURER <br />FOR THE CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW FOR THE REMAINDER OF YEAR 2023 <br />WHEREAS, Chapter 6, Section 6.04 of the City Charter states the City Council <br />shall appoint a City Treasurer whose duties shall be as specified by State Law; and <br />WHEREAS, the current Treasurer and Deputy Treasurer are retiring from the <br />City of Mounds View effective September 14, 2023. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of <br />Mounds View does hereby appoint Gayle Bauman as Treasurer and Amanda Bruzer as <br />Deputy Treasurer for the remainder of Year 2023: <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Administrator, the Treasurer, or the <br />Deputy Treasurer are authorized to conduct banking and investment business on behalf <br />of the City of Mounds View. <br />Adopted this 28th day of August, 2023. <br />Gary Meehlhause, Acting Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Nyle Zikmund, City Administrator <br />(SEAL) <br />The Mounds View Vision <br />A Thriving Desirable Community <br />
